These arrangement symbolize grief, and are a gentle way to vent. A few common flowers are babies breath, chamomile, forget-me-nots, and hyacinth.

What is Flower Language?

Flowers and plants have had symbolism as long as symbolism has been a concept. And really gained popularity among the Victorians- they would go as far as to have an entire dialogue without a single spoken word!

And though it has since fallen out of popularity, flower symbolism (or floriography) is still a simple and sweet way to communicate to someone, and to let them know in a thoughtful way how you feel about them.

I was having a bit of a rough day, and I had planned a picnic in my back garden, but realised that I needed flowers on a very short notice, I’ve passed by the storefront before but never ordered before. Well, I wish I had sooner. Everyone was very kind to me, and I ended up getting a lovely bouquet that means a person is a joy to be around. Lovely place.

I Ordered from here for all of the flowers in my wedding, and I have to say that there is something sweet about knowing the symbolism for a very large chunk of my decorations is eternal love and unwavering devotion. Even if no one but me and my husband knew, it still made every time I saw the arrangements just a touch more meaningful.

I ordered flowers from here for my girlfriend for our anniversary, she’s a big fan of art history and loves the victorian era the most. She was telling me what all of the flowers meant before she realized that there was a pattern and almost cried because i have been listening when she talks about it.
